My last race of 2024 :(
I will be racing out into the Howe Sound, turn left and head down to a river..? If the wind is good, I will be (of course) fast AF. My crew promised me they’d make it a good last race, then I get to snuggle up for the winter and get some more touch-ups.
WVYC Howe Sound Regatta
The last two-day event of the VARC calendar. It’s getting chillier, so I think my crew has slay new jackets to wear. I will be spending the night in my own slip though, no fun new marinas to hang out in this event..
Deep Cove Regatta
I only go to Deep Cove once a year. Sooo I guess they chose today.. Two day regatta and I get to spend the night tied up to that big sexy powerboat, Too Cool Cats. I am gonna make sure I am washed up and looking fabulous for that..
WVYC Jack & Jill
The last double handed event of the year, TG. I am NOT a third wheel… I am not a wheel at all. I am a boat.
My guess is it’ll be the same two of my humans as the Ken & Barbie… But I never know what those people are up to. Don’t forget about my runners, please.
VRC Ken & Barbie
Another race with two of my humans?? Stop trying to make double handed happen. It’s not going to happen. Some of us shouldn’t have to take this workshop, because some of us are just victims in this situation.
UUUGHHHHH. They better look amazing since it’s named after two fashion icons.
English Bay Scramble (TCYC)
Apparently people argue about which way to go around this course. Four marks? More than one finish? Two choices for a start line? As long as I get the maximum amount of people seeing me go very fast, I don’t really care which way I go.
Squamish Open Annual Regatta (SOAR)
SOAR is peak summer. All the slay, all the pink, all the wind. The crew brings their best pink-toed foot forward to really make me shine. Friday inflow race to Squamy, Saturday some windward leeward action, Sunday uphill climb to finish the weekend. And I get a freshwater soak all weekend while the crew parties on me and drinks too much. TLDR: Slayest weekend of the summer.
Summer Regatta
VRC says this is “THE MOST FUN YOU WILL HAVE THIS SUMMER”… So, have you not seen me or met my crew? (if I had hair I would flick it fr rn) We decide what is fun and then have the most of it. Maybe they are saying that cuz they know my crew and I will be there. Anyway summer is my jam, so I should probably win.
WAVES Regatta
WAVES Regatta (RVYC). Like ok, but when is the FLAT WATER Regatta cuz that’s more my vibe. At least this regatta is two days, so twice the chance I will get some slay pictures.
BIYC Round Bowen Race
I like this race. I go fast for a while then float around for a while. Either way I look fabulous. Then my humans drink a lot and I spend the night with them in Snug Cove.
WVYC-RNSA-NYC SINGLEHAND/DOUBLEHAND REGATTA
Another race with only 2 of my humans. Did I do something wrong? The rest of my crew better be on a photo boat along side me or something. Anyway we’re going from Point Grey to Nanaimo, I’ll be spending another night in a new marina. Maybe there will be some cute boats there.
Spring Has Sprung Regatta
KYC Spring Has Sprung regatta. I haven’t sailed in this event before, so I can’t tell you what it’s all about. Ask my humans, they’re the ones making me do it. Hope it’s sunny so I look STUNNING.
Collingwood Channel Race
Something about a channel or something? This is a VARC race? Who knew. Anyway I’ll be out there looking hot, winning stuff. (WVYC)

I am normally tucked safely in my slip every night, so I was surprised when boat daddy told me I would be racing all night… What if I hit a log?
VARC Opener
VARC Opener Regatta - First race that we get to win for the year. My humans seem really excited, they’ve had me in the spa all month getting ready to look amaze for it. Slay.
